The Day I Fell in Love With Joshua Tree Park

Well, It looks like I’m working ahead of schedule on my weekly challenge so I didn’t have to post challenge photos this week. But! I promised my self I’d post every week (you know, to get better at this blogging thing), so I was looking back at some albums and found these gems.  They are shots I captured  during my first visit to Joshua Tree Park last year. It was an impromptu visit.  My husband and I decided on a wimp (we do that a LOT) to drive 3 hours to watch the sunset and camp in the desert.

We could not find a campsite. They were all taken; so we drove back to San Diego that night.  However, that did not matter, because I got a chance to meet and fall in love with this amazing park. The 6 hours drive was well worth the 2 hours spent indulging in this beautiful landscape–It was love at first sight– totally worth the trip and gas.
