Week 5: Batiquitos Lagoon in Black & White (I feel like a criminal)

This week’s challenge= painful.

Landscape in black and white. Not a fan.  I LOVE colors. I mean, I’m from the Caribbean, for God’s sake! I felt I was committing a crime while stripping the colors out of these photos. The process was utterly painful. But I signed up for this challenge and the job had to get done (honestly, I did have some fun with it).

Batiquitos Lagoon, a very tiny and beautiful (and colorful) lagoon located in Carlsbad CA next to the I-5 Highway.  Here are some shots I captured today while we walked around the area. More that I look at these, more that they grow on me. But I still prefer colors.  I feel like a criminal. I’m sorry Batiquitos Lagoon! you’re still very beautiful.
